I am running MI Pro 4.1.2 and the new MI ProViewer (PV). I've noticed that when I
close PV, the next time I start MI Pro,
there is no recently used file list in the File... drop down menu. The MRU in PV is
fine. Also, if I open & close consecutive
MI Pro sessions, the MRU is OK.
I've noticed a file named mapinfow.prf (in C:\winnt\ folder) is updated whenever
either MI Pro or PV closes. It is a non-text
file, but if I open it in Notepad right after closing MI Pro, I can see the file names
I just opened & closed.
If I then open and close PV, the .prf file is changed and the files that I had opened
in MI Pro are no longer there. Obviously,
both programs are using the same .prf, and PV is deleting the MI Pro file names
I hate using the word bug, but is this as intended?
