Hello, We supplied dxf files to a client and they are having difficulties importing some of them into MapInfo 5.0. We imported a level from one of the problem dxf files into MapInfo 5.0 and the coverage was created. We originally exported the dxf from MicroStation. The file was exported as a AutoCAD version 11/12 and we used the polyline option instead of the polyface mesh option. We are running Win NT 4.0 with service pack 4.0 266 MHZ pentium with 128 MB RAM. The client is using Windows 98 and I not sure about their RAM. The problem dxf is approximately 4 MB in size. It took our WIN NT 4.0 about 15 minutes to import the file. The client can't see all the levels that are available in the dxf when they try to import the file. When they import the file the resultant coverage does not have all the information.
