I am writing this to confirm a question which i kept for a long time. how do Mapinfo mapinfo data in relation to Hardcopy ? I think when we digitised from a map, all data should be preserved as original scale ie scale =1 regardless of what projection because hardcopy (usually) have already taking account of projection. Projection = Adjustment to earth measurement (3D) to paper (2D). That why when I digitised my map in BRSO projection, I set all my projection to non-earth (Non-earth should have scale of 1???). Now if I want to transfer said UTM (with parameters) to Scale =1 ie Non earth, how do i do scaling or X and Y shift.
