Does anyone know the correct MapInfo projection for DCW data for Russia? It
is not Lat/Lon and I understand it is Lambert Conformal Conic, but I do not
have the full info (e.g. origin of false grid). So far I have:
Projection: Lambert Conformal Conic
Units: Meters
Spheroid: Clarke1866
Parameters: 1st standard parallel 70 0 0.000
2nd standard parallel 50 0 0.000
central meridian 110 0 0.00
latitude of projection's origin 0 0 0.000
longitude of proj. origin 0
Horizontal datum WGS84 --World Geodetic System
I have had no success in projecting it so far, so any advice would be
appreciated!
