First question:
I have two layers of polygons. I must to select the polygons
in one of these layers, partially or totally covered by on epolygon of the other
(I already known how to do it, thanks), but, next, I must to update the covering
polygon with data from the covered polygons weigthed by the area covered of each
one. This is important, as the covering polygon actually covers just some
portions of the underlying ones.
Second question:
In the example above, the covering polygon is a buffer. Could
I update it in a similar way, but weighting by the inverse of the distance to
its centroid? In example, buffer 1 covers polygon 13 but pol 13 is at a distance
x of the centroid of the buffer. I need to update the data of the buffer with
the portion of polygon 13 covered and weighted by the distance.
Apologies by this puzzling explanation of the
problem...
