Hi,
I need to determine "chainage" along a line. I have a 30km line and I want a
sample point every 10m, with an attribute that tells me how far that point
is from the beginning of the line. I can create the points OK, using VM's
poly2point utility, but I'm not sure how to measure the distance along the
line to each point, and capture that value.
I can't simple count down the list and add 10m every time, as the points are
not all created in sequence.
The line is not strainght.
