This will only be posted here once. We are sorry if it sounds like a
commercial to some. However, it is difficult to reach those in many
nations who may be interested in this matter. They can not yet easily
be reached by the international magazines with geospatial analysis
content which are just emerging.
TNTmips, TNTedit, TNTview, TNTatlas and TNTserver are all MicroImages
professional geospatial products (integrating GIS, image processing,
CAD, RDBMS,...) in use over 120 nations. It is likely that the free
student version of these products called TNTlite is in use somewhere in
almost all nations. The MI/X server (a free X Server for Windows 95,
98, NT Intel and the Macintosh) has been downloaded by 1 million
locations from about 200 mirror sites. MI/X is commonly used to
remotely control the popular UNIX based image processing and GIS
commerical software of our competitors.
All of the TNT products are fully internationalized to use interfaces
in, and produce products (for example, hardcopy maps) in almost all
languages. Language kits are currently available for use with the TNT
products in Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Turkish, and others. Additional
language kits are now in preparation and will become available by the
end of summer for Arabic, Greek, Polish, Slovak, Spanish, French,
German, Portuguese, and others.
