Dear all.
I have a large dataset (which I generated in another application, Geomedia) which I
wish to use in MapInfo.
The problem is that i am depicting traffic flows at intersections using arrows for
left , straight through and right turns. These are placed at four locations (at a
crossing) at each intersection of a city. In Geomedia I had gone through and manually
adjusted the symbols (ie left turns ) so that they were oriented correctly to the road
and intersection during the data entry however, I seem to have lost the orientation of
the symbols when I imported the data
Questions
Is there a automation that will orient symbols to the road they are on in the correct
manner ( I have several thousand points)
Are there any traffic engineers who use MapInfo for traffic flow and turn info and can
advise of the best way to tackle this issue.
also, Is there a way to label any one object with several attributes (labels). eg one
point would have a label with street name and the suburb (2 columns within the table)?
