I have seen a couple of messages on the list where people are using
cairo rendering (which I assume replaces the AGG rendering). I have a
couple of quick questions.

1) Why cairo versus AGG? Is it faster? Look better? Better output
options?
2) Is cairo available in the C interface or only in the python interface?
3) How do I do this? I see references to getting the source from SVN
and then using changeset 720 but not sure where to get the changeset or
how to apply it. I tried searching the wiki and nabble and didn't see it.

I love the output that mapnik can create. It looks great! I am just
concerned with speed, so anything I can try to get another second or two
savings is worth it.

Thanks!
