Hi Blake,

While desired, Win32 builds, even for the latest 0.6.0 do not include Cairo support unfortunately.

If you have been experimenting with building on Win32 with cairo you may be farther ahead in testing than anyone.

I'd create a trac ticket and post your progress so far.

Hi All,

I've had success with Cairo rendering when building from source in Ubuntu, but under Win2k3 Server I can't seem to get all the dependencies compiled/linked (with either cygwin or vc++ 2008). I've tinkered extensively with the vc sol'n from the experimental-pdf branch (great work on documenting that, btw), but I haven't gotten any positive results since adding the cairo/cairomm/pixman build process and the most recent mapnik trunk files.

I'd really like to use the PDF surface output on this windows machine, so if anyone has a Release build of anything from 0.5 to 0.6 they wouldn't mind pointing me to, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you,

Blake
