I'm not sure anyone is daft enough to try. I have some rough numbers here which say it would take about 450TB of disk space, of which 350TB is zoom level 18. The numbers are a bit skewed by assuming constant tile size so I'd expect smaller than that, but I don't know of anyone who has seriously set out to generate all the tiles. Well, I know lots of people who started, and then came to the MLs a few days later after generating a few hundred gigabytes and then start asking for better approaches. I'm interested to see if anyone has actually been daft enough/dedicated enough to do it though!
