Yep. I even didn't try the new OSM style creation right now.
That makes some things complicated at the beginning, but
should be more easy for the future.

But how many users really want to do rendering on their systems?
I think only very few.

There are other things, which may harm users running PostGIS and
Mapnik: Importing Europe takes 3 hours on my computer. On other
systems, it takes 24-26 hours (I've seen this many times).

Think of VirtualBox. It would be possible to create a VM-image
based on Ubuntu or Debian. It could be accessed from Windows
via a website, hosted on this VM.
