Well I do love a good party. And another sprint would be great. Dane's recent post regarding getting ready for a Mapnik2 release should inspire some great themes for a future sprint or two. The folks at CloudMade very kindly hosted us in London last year. We did get general offers of locations for future sprints from various kind and generous folks. If I remember correctly, in New York, Portland and San Francisco. I think we also have an offer of a venue in New Zealand? It is wonderful to have so many offers of places to hold a Mapnik Code Sprint. I'll throw my hat into the ring as well. We can host in Toronto. Great international connections, but none of them are cheap. Should we start with a location and attendees, then choose a theme? Or start with a theme and attendees then choose a place? Or something else? I'm sure Dane will have some ideas to help move Mapnik to to 2.0.0.
