Jersey is a great animal, I've used for Hoop. If you are starting from scratch
you may want to look at Hoop util classes for Jersey (parameters, exceptions,
messages). I guess you'll be needing something similar. It would be great to
reuse all that.
As they idea is to contribute Hoop to Hadoop (HDFS-2178), you could leverage
much of that stuff.
