I'll work on it once Mavenization is stable.
Most of the work will be around maven modules and build to align with the
Hadoop.
What is also left to see is if it should be part of HDFS itself or or a
separate module.
One thing you could do is start working with current Hoop classes and later
you'll only need to do import package changes
