@Milind, regarding Hoop (HDFS-2178), both in the JIRA and in the alias there
has been positive feedback and a +1 already. I t is in my priorities list to
get a patch ready for Hadoop; however I'm currently blocked by the outcome of
HADOOP-7560 and by how we would integrate HDFS-2178 into HDFS. As soon as this
2 things gets resolved I'll refactor Hoop accordingly (that would take me a
day's work).
