I have installed ms4w on XP and am trying to display a simple map with the
following map file.
MAP
IMAGETYPE png
SIZE 600 400
EXTENT -120 49 -110 60
UNITS dd
SHAPEPATH "R:/GIS/"
LAYER
NAME "Elevation"
TYPE raster
DATA "srtm/elevation.tif"
END
END
I am testing mapserv from the command line with the following command
mapserv -nh
"QUERY_STRING=map=R:/Program_Dev/DHildebrand/geoprocessing_server/MapServer/sample.map&mode=map"
The following output is returned, which, I presume, is a PNG stream but there
are no errors generated.

When but when I redirect the output to a *.png file, though, I simply get a
blank white image. Any clues?
