[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] Tiling and Image

I have a large global dataset that i would like to break into smaller 
tiles (individual files, not internal tiles).  I know this can be done 
with imagemagick but that rout seems rather complicated, isnt there some 
gdal utility out there that i can use.
