Bob,
I too do a lot of large format prints that I like to produce digitally as well. The
method that works best for me is that I install a large format postscript printer
driver (Say an HP Design Jet Plotter driver but there's a crap load to choose from)
and check the [Print to file] box when you print, just make sure to put a ".ps" at the
end of the filename. This method usually saves the file in the Maptitude root
directory. This isn't 100% failsafe, I know people who's operating system has had
problems with PostScript drivers but it's worth a shot.
>From there you should be able to convert it using your Adobe product or what I do is
>convert the PS file using a product called Paint Shop Pro 6.0 (by Jasc Corp. $99.00 @
>www.jasc.com), we also have in-house unix hacks that convert PS to PDF but that's
>another story. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Later on!!
