If you just need the data and not the boundary file, you can also create a
dataview in Maptitude with the fields you want. Then do a FILE->SAVE
AS->and select Dbase as the file type. Then you could open this a table in
ArcView. The table can then be linked to a shape boundary file by a common
field such as tract number. Tract numbers frequently are in different
formats, so you may need to create a new field somewhere along the way to
match the style used by ArcView (periods, no periods, etc.). If you can do
it, it's a lot easier to make your map in Maptitude.

Hi Everyone-
All of this frantic activity has inspired me to try the list for an
answer to a problem that I have been working on. I am setting up an
economic resource database for a county in Maine. The database is
actually in ArcView, but I would like to attach the C-2020 census
database to the project. How do I go about exporting the demographic
information for just one county to ArcView? Thanks for any advice.
