Subject: Re: [Maptitude] Maidenhead Grid system and Maptitude

I did a bit of searching and came across
http://www.mapcruzin.com/download_mapcruz.htm
<http://www.mapcruzin.com/download_mapcruz.htm>

Didn't see it there but you could ask Michael Meuser. (about half way
down the page)

It seems that Ham operators use the grid Maybe another place to look.
Probably out there in a shape file that can be downloaded.

Chris,
Yes it is used by amateur radio operators, but it is starting to appear
in other apps. I would like to try to figure out how I can use it with
Maptitude to locate data which uses maidenhead encoding.

I will check the address you gave me.
