ScreenHunter allows you to select the region you want. Most all of them do. You drag a rectange over the area you want - its done. You can use what is on the clipboard and.or save it to a file. The clipboard will be a .bmp file, quite large. You can save the image to several file formats.

Subject: [Maptitude] Map printing and cut and pasting

Dear users,

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both screen capture and print screen
methods. Both worked well but they included the manu bars on top and bottom
that I don't want in the "word" file.  In the process, I found that one can
first copy the map into a graphic program, such as "Paint", or "Corel Draw".
Save the map into bitmap format, then it can be pasted into the word file.
The map will be within the page margins and border, no overflowing.

Thanks.
