At this point I save the Excel data as a .dbf and import it into Mapt, join the data to a geographic file by matching on zipcode, and do the theme map. Probably there's an easier way to do this, but I don't know what it is.

In the SF1 tables on Factfinder, you can get 'race alone' (PCT12) by age by 5-digit and 3-digit zipcode. You have to do the aggregation by age and sex for each racial/ethnic category--I usually copy into Excell and add them up.

We are looking for race/ethnicity of youth less than 20 years old by ZIP in Oakland, CA. We can't find it in Maptitude and American Fact Finder and are wondering if the Census cross-tabulates race/ethnicity by age at a ZIP code level. Does anyone know how to get this information?
