When adding a column to a layer, why does Maptitude decide that it should be read-only and not allow you to make changes to it? I found a column setting dialog box that makes you think you changed it, but that does not work. I've tried everything I can think to do and it still comes up read-only (which pretty much defeats the purpose of adding a column).
