You are exactly right. I have buttons on the side of the pen. <after I got your note I turned them both into single clicks. <one of then was a double click activated by a single sqeezing of the button.
It seems that it will be much faster to trace an underlying image this way. But it takes practice.
thanks a lot

-------------- Original message --------------
You get this message if you click a new point and then double-click in the
same place. Then you are asking Maptitude to add a line where the start and
end points are the same.
You may be able to configure the double click behavior of your tablet so it
is less likely to interpret your single click as a double click.

Subject: [Maptitude] Wacom tablet as a map editor
I am trying to setup a Wacom tablet www.wacom.com to help me edit .dbd
files. I am new to using it, so maybe someone is doing the same thing and
can help with the following:
When I try to make an area layer I frequently get
¨´ a line with one or zero shape points cannot end at the same point ref
info geo_tool , 695,0 ¨ I think this measns that I am trying to put two
points in the same location, but I am not sure. Something to do with
clicking with the pen or similar. Any ideas?
thanks
