Sometimes when I click with my tablet pen I get the end of a line but the little node at the end is not a little black star but an empty diamond. Then when trying to start another line from that point it looks like its working but when choosing the green light on the Map Editing tools the polygon is not closed and the intended polygon disappears. so true endpoints are bvlack stars, true corners are solid squares, ?empty diamonds appear in the middle of an area when I use a mouse but I never get one at the end of a line but frequently do with the pen.

-------------- Original message --------------
You get this message if you click a new point and then double-click in the
same place. Then you are asking Maptitude to add a line where the start and
end points are the same.
You may be able to configure the double click behavior of your tablet so it
is less likely to interpret your single click as a double click.

Subject: [Maptitude] Wacom tablet as a map editor
I am trying to setup a Wacom tablet www.wacom.com to help me edit .dbd
files. I am new to using it, so maybe someone is doing the same thing and
can help with the following:
When I try to make an area layer I frequently get
¨´ a line with one or zero shape points cannot end at the same point ref
info geo_tool , 695,0 ¨ I think this measns that I am trying to put two
points in the same location, but I am not sure. Something to do with
clicking with the pen or similar. Any ideas?
thanks
