The Caliper census data dataview shows the labels for the
columns, such as "population" but the underlying variable is v01 which is
the original census variable. How can I save the dataview as a .dbf with the
underlying census variavle names rather than the column variable
name.
Also if I have a dbf with long/lat with variables x1,
x2, ... xn and for which I have labels "infant death rate" "maternal age".
... etc how do I make those lables as column heading in a .dbd/cdf type
layer with the underlying variables as x1, x2, ...
xn
thanks -

See the "Push Buttons" topic in the on-line Help for GISDK. Just click on
the Index tab, type "buttons", and choose "Push Buttons." The icons: option
lets you choose the bitmap(s) to use.
