Upgrading to Maptitude 5.0 will not solve the problem.
I tried to open a map I made last month and got the same message - so Maptitude
doesn't do what it did last month.  Maptitude didn't "break".
I had to re-install Windows because of another issue.  Seems after that
re-install, I've been having minor memory management problems with other
applications also.
That leads me to believe the problem is with Windows memory management, not
Maptitude.
If Maptitude worked last month, it should work now (all other things being
equal).

If you always do what you've done,
you'll always have what you got.

John, for starters, upgrade to Maptitude 5.0.

  I get
"Sorry, the program referenced memory illegally" when I try to
  Locate by address.

  Maptitude 4.5, Windows 2000
  SP4, 785k RAM.

The .dvw and .dbf files are attached.
