I have tried for several days to do this and can't figure how to do it,
although before I bought Maptitude, I was assured it could be done.
I have my locations mapped, each with a 100-mile-radius (separate bands) as
'SalesAreas'. What I want is a list of my locations together with the states
that each SalesArea touches, and the percentage of the SalesArea falling in the
State, so that I can derive something like:
StoreFrontA Montana 100%
StoreFrontB Idaho 60%
StoreFrontB Montana 32%
StoreFrontB Wyoming 8%
StoreFrontC Idaho 75%
StoreFrontC Oregon 25%
...etc.
I've tried several different ways with overlays, but have only been able to
even get close when only one location's band is selected and making States the
active layer - it seems to return each state it touches. However, there are far
too many of them to do them one at a time.
Is this do-able? Can anyone help?
Thanks.
