Maptitude puts a Long/Lat as the first couple of columns in a DATAVIEW. When
no data are shown, I can enter Long/Lat.
However, I tried cutting and pasting the data from Excel. Maptitude will let
me PASTE the LONGITUDE data in Column 2; But NOT let me paste anyting in the
LATITUDE column (3). I tried cutting and pasting Latitude several times; no
dice. Yet I can manually enter LATITUDE data in that column. And I can copy a
manually entered LATITUDE value and paste it in other cells (in the same
column). But I can't copy and paste a Latitude value from an Excel
spreadsheet. (My data set actually has Long/Lat in it, but not in the
precision used by Maptitude; yet I can't seem to just move it to columns 2 and
3 where the Long/Lat that Maptitude uses.)
