Hi Bruce,

Why don't you just import the EXCEL file? If you have the lat/lon columns in
EXCEL labelled latitude, longitude then Maptitude will import the excel file
and create the geography.

If you have data in the original Maptitude file that needs to be 'merged',
you could re-geocode that file against the imported EXCEL file.

Subject: [Maptitude] Pasting Latitude Data into DATAVIEW

Maptitude puts a Long/Lat as the first couple of columns in a DATAVIEW. When
no data are shown, I can enter Long/Lat.

However, I tried cutting and pasting the data from Excel. Maptitude will let
me PASTE the LONGITUDE data in Column 2; But NOT let me paste anyting in the
LATITUDE column (3). I tried cutting and pasting Latitude several times; no
dice. Yet I can manually enter LATITUDE data in that column. And I can copy
a manually entered LATITUDE value and paste it in other cells (in the same
column). But I can't copy and paste a Latitude value from an Excel
spreadsheet. (My data set actually has Long/Lat in it, but not in the
precision used by Maptitude; yet I can't seem to just move it to columns 2
and 3 where the Long/Lat that Maptitude uses.)

Help!
