I'm a new returner to Maptitude after a long break and previous experience with
TransCAD.
I need to identify all point locations that are within, say, 1km of any other
point in the same layer. I can do this using fill and distance to an attribute
in another layer. I can replicate the layer and do the same thing, but of
course I just return the point itself and zero distance, not the next nearest
point.
What I want to do is return the ID/name whatever of the next nearest point into
one new field and the distance between the two in another new field.
