Hi everyone!
I'm a new Maptitude's user from Madrid, Spain. I'm taking my first steps
with Maptitude and I want to ask you about the network bands.
I'm working with the Spain Country Package and the streets layer. After
doing the network bands (With the Lenght field as the cost to minimize)
I analyzed them with the Shortest Path tool and I just realized that the
results are not exactly the same.
I mean, If I have a band of 30 km and I do the Shortest Path between the
origin node to the end of the band in some cases I do not get exactly
the 30 km. I've tried switching the parametres of the Shortest Path
Routing between use local streets, highways or let Maptitude choose for me.
Is this normal?
Do the networks bands calculation have any diferent parameters to the
Shortest path tool?
I must say that in urban areas I get better results that in rural areas.
