attend the MSAA BOARD ELECTIONS 2007 on saturday, April 14 at Viziato
Carlos Bar and Grill Restaurant at 7PM.

GUIDELINES FOR MSAA 2007 ELECTIONS
Objectives:
1. To organize an MSAA Comelec that will oversee the proceedings of
the election for the vacant seats of Director to the MSAA.
2. To set up guidelines for the election
3. To facilitate a smooth and orderly election.
4. To proclaim the winning positions.
5. To conduct the Oath of Office of the new MSAA Board by our Marist
School President.
General Guidelines:
1. The election will be conductedon saturday, April 14 at Viziato
Carlos Bar and Grill Restaurant at 7PM.;
2. A Comelec will be organized comprising 2 active members of the
Board and 1 Batch Representative (to be appointed) who are not up for
election or re-election. This will be done at least one (1) week
before the actual Election Day.
3. There will be three (3) seats for the position of MSAA Director for
2007 that will need to be filled-up;
4. Qualified candidates are defined as:
a. A Marist School alumnus;
b. At least 1 year active membership of good standing with the MSAA;
c. An elected or appointed Representative of his Batch is suggested
but not preferred; and,
d. Willing to uphold the objectives of the Association and serve the
interests of the general welfare of the Alumni.
5. Process of election will be by way of nomination and written ballots.
6. Only candidates present during the Election Day could be nominated.
Absentee nomination or voting will not be allowed.
7. The top three (3) Nominated candidates with the most number of
written ballots to his name will be proclaimed by the COMELEC as new
MSAA Directors to fill-up the vacant position. The COMELEC's decision
will be final.
8. Newly elected Directors together with the current Officers and
Members of the Board will be proclaimed immediately during the
Election Day and will be facilitated by our Marist School President
Bro. Paterno Corpus, FMS.
