TOP STORY -- Charter posted a third quarter profit, reporting income 
from operations of $63 million for the three-month period, compared to 
a loss of $2.344 billion for third quarter 2004. The MSO also said it 
netted 98,400 high-speed Internet customers, 75,800 digital video 
customers and 22,100 telephone customers during the three-month 
period.

Viacom said third quarter revenues increased 10 percent to $5.9 billion, 
from $5.4 billion for the same period last year, led by growth of 15 
percent in cable networks and 54 percent in entertainment --- Turner 
Classic Movies will make its Canadian debut this fall on cable systems 
operated by Shaw Communications --- Time Warner Cable and 
Broadbus announced today that San Antonio and surrounding 
communities will have access to local affiliate news content using 
Broadbus video-on-demand technology --- Comcast and RadioShack 
announced a comprehensive retail agreement covering the cable 
operator's high-speed Internet and digital cable services sold through 
the retailer.
