TOP STORY -- Time Warner Cable, the second largest U.S. cable 
company announced the first "family-friendly" package of television 
channels to be rolled out in the first quarter of next year. Designed to 
ease pressure from lawmakers, regulators and parental groups upset 
over provocative television content, the offering will provide subs a 15-
channel package of cartoons, news and educational shows.

Cingular announced the upcoming launch of Cingular Video, an on-
demand streaming video service for personalized access to video via 
high-speed capable (3G) phones --- Comcast announced the new senior 
management team for the company's cable division: David Watson, 
executive VP of operations, will be responsible for the five operating 
divisions; Kevin Casey (president- New England Division); Michael Doyle 
(president- Eastern Division); William Connors (president- Midwest 
Division); John Ridall (president- Southern Division); Brad Dusto 
(president- Western Division) and Steven Burch (CEO- NTL International 
in England) --- Nickelodeon announced that it will close 2005 in first 
place among all kids' demos and total viewers owning the top 30 out of 
30 kids shows and the top five preschool shows  --- here! Networks 
announed a distribution agreement with Movielink that will make here! 
content available on the video-on-demand service.
