* Why ODF formats are better;
* Why use LibO;

Of all the arguments presented, in my opinion, these two are the most important. It we are to market LibO then we also market ODF by default. The ODF is what will change the scene in the US market especially. MSO is firmly entrenched, however, the constant complaint that has never been fixed is .doc incompatibility from one version to the next. Any big organisation has known and lived through it. They know the amount of time and expense it takes to update their documents and for all intents and purposes, people normally give up.

We are sure to make a difference by offering import filters for old .doc files and an ISO format from the ODF that promises the longevity of the document file. This will sell.

As a teacher and IT liaison for my school, I know how it feels to have 40 staff members clamouring for help with the document migration to the newer .doc version. Extremely time consuming and frustrating. Not to mention 350 students with files in their accounts! And we are a small school.
