Hello. I have an idea that might be interested both as marketing and feedback platform.
Why not show in a more aggresive way the advantages of real Free Software governed by a community? The idea is a strong feedback campaign in a ton of different languages and sub-campaigns focused on different sectors, showing LibreOffice is the alternative that wants to adapt to the needs of it´s users. The ideal public can be enthusiasts, education, companies and government institutions (for example). There can be some events dedicated to analyze the bahaviours of users and ask them what they want to improve. I think the basis of the idea could be a nice site explaining the campaign, appear on the main worldwide FOSS/computing/productivity/education/... events and friendly media (slashdot, linux.com and tons other sites). This could be quite useful to have a general idea per country and sector of the needs of LibO users (and current oOO ones) about what they use mostly and what they want to be improved. It's just an idea that I had and wanted to share it with the rest of people. This needs to be a lot developed and debating the different related topics, but may be a good start further developed by the marketing and development guys joined.
