This was not really a choice for OpenOffice.org community in Brazil. When
Sun Microsystems named this Office suite, that trade mark was already taken
by a little company in Brazil. In order to avoid lawsuits, the brazillian
community founded a NGO called BrOffice.org, which was responsible for
developing a brazillian "flavor" of OpenOffice office suite. BrOffice
community was one of the first communities to support TDF, when it was
founded last year.
