Ok, so it seems to be another problem that some people do have and some people don't. I have noticed that Windows users seem to have the problem and i have seen it in Ubuntu. Perhaps it is just Yahoo misbehaving again. I have written to Yahoo "customer support" a number of times about various issues but have never heard back. There is a user forum but their answers are along the lines the lines of "Look, ponies". I was hoping their new beta testing might accept user-input or just be fixed but sadly not. Still they are very popular and used by a LOT of people so we need to be able to work with them in some way rather than blaming users for the faults created by organisations.
I agree that it's sad that so many users are affected -- or in theory could be affected, as it seems that this problem doesn't occur for everyone. Christian Lohmaier wrote it works for him, so having some more feedback on this (which we should discuss on the website list probably) would be helpful to nail down the issue. :)
