It's just to inform you about an important letter of objection that our Association (GreekLUG) sent over today, to the Greek Ministry of Education, calling for a cancellation of the current tender for a procurement of 24700 school laptops. The technical specs were written quite hastily, and do not concede a fair chance for participation of Free Software solutions.
This letter was also sent over to many other recipients, both in the Greek Ministry of Education and the European Commission, as well as to various other political leaders and press agencies and magazines.
