Hi :) Thanks and you are welcome.
I think the Creative Commons License is worth promoting a little bit but probably as a side-issue and not really focussed on. Copy-left agreements generally are a crucial part of OpenSource life in general and the Creative Commons ones are often used for documentation in OpenSource projects. Their website is quite pretty and has nice videos and slideshows http://creativecommons.org/ Google search for LibreOffice or a search in YouTube (and similar places) often gets some great results. Drew made some good videos that might be possible to find in the marketing area of our wiki. A Vietnamese chap made some good videos too as he got onto mainstream tele in Vietnam but i'm not sure if we kept track of them. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Marketing Sorry i don't know any good direct links so hopefully someone else can be more useful. Apols, thanks and regards from Tom :) >________________________________ > From: Warren <[email protected]> >To: Tom Davies <[email protected]> >Cc: [email protected] >Sent: Tuesday, 22 January 2013, 15:20 >Subject: Re: [libreoffice-marketing] Marketing materials for TV > >Thanks for the promt reply, > >with regards to the show a meeting with the producers is tomorrow evening, >filming on Friday unless it is postponed due to production limitations. and it >gets aired the following Saturday and a copy on VIMEO (a site like youtube) . >i would like to thank tom for the links to the wiki, there are some points i >will use, but what i wanted to ask if their are any video clips even made by >fans, that "advertise" libreoffice in a similar way that the Linux foundation >have, i am asking as i am gathering as much info and sorting them out for a >max of 15minutes where i will cover, Linux, general OSS, and OSS like >libreoffice, Gimp, firefox and so on... if possible within the the timeframe, >but LO is one of the main topics i will put into the show and i would like to >mention with permission aswell that TDF:LO are working for Tablet/mobile >editions of the office suite.
