hi,

the stats and "timeline" of extensions and templates download from sourceforge 
has an api that gives countrywise os wise breakup and also android. with 
increase in mobile computing devices no longer are users in office - openoffice 
and other office software will need to un office for this segment and break up 
downloads of writer, calc etc. as independent units.

Why don't you just do a map of all the benefits of using OpenOffice
over Word for windows?
