Good morning all,
Not sure this is the right list for my question, so could you
point me in the right direction if it is not :-)
I'm working on an article for a professional magazine for soap-
and candle-makers, hence not necessarily computer-savvy computer
users. However, the magazine only comes out in electronic
format, so we can safely assume they all have a minimum of
familiarity with productivity suites.
My piece has to be in interview/review format, and I would
really like to put OpenOffice in the spotlight, as a viable
alternative to MS Office.
Who could I contact, who would like to answer a few questions as
an official representative of the Apache OO project?
Also, I would like to put together a few sample files for them
to download. I am fine with spreadsheets and writer templates,
but no good with database or mail merge tasks. Do you know where
I could find templates and/or tutorials I could use for this project?
I'd be happy to post a more detailed description of the article
structure, either to the list or privately to those interested.
Thanking you in advance,
marina
