I like the revised PDF. A couple thoughts, though.... I don't like how the "challenge" header isn't centered over its corresponding text. I'd probably make it left justified.
I would also try to set apart that whole "challenge" section of text from the rest of the document. I imagine it could be set in a very light gray box with a black border, but the box background shouldn't be too dark that the QR code is tough to scan. A box at the bottom would sandwich the body text between the top banner and bottom box, as well as emphasize the fundraising challenge by treating it differently. I suppose the same effect could be achieved with a horizontal rule to separate the section and/or maybe a change of font size or style. ...but I think I'd like a box better, even if it just had a white background..
