No problems for me, since I am not working anymore. Volunteering is the only thing I do now. My aunt passed over the weekend, so the calling hours is in a few, so I have to start getting ready for that. Had to search for my summer weight suit pants, since it is in the low 80's here instead of the normal low 60's. Before that, I will be dropping off a copy of the DVD to my friend who has a used book store. She could pass it on to her church and her son could pass it on to the kid's Christian school teachers that are tech people for the school. Maybe make some people happy getting the DVD. So, someone needs to email me the info needed to be a part of this meeting Thurs night. Have to deal with my wife's facility Thurs., later morning and early afternoon. Our dictator/governor is trying to close it, so it was just sold again to a different company and we will know in about two months how many wards will be closing. Hopefully her dementia ward will not be shut down. The law states that she has to be moved to a place less than 30 miles from my place, and if there is no place available, they cannot shut down the facility till there are beds available withing that 30 mile distance from me. Of course our governor has thrown out the laws, by executive order, that he does not like and do not want to pay the money to abide by the law's requirements. He wants to reduce his budget by taking away the service to the poor so the rich can keep their pork handouts. HE does not have family members that needs those services and do not have the income to pay for it. I do not have $5,000 a month to pay for her care in a facility. Does anyone on a fixed income?
I'll be thinking of you and all of my sympathies for your loss. Best of luck with the care of your wife. Tough austerity times.
We'll keep you informed on the meeting on Thursday.
