The principle of non-intervention described in that language goes way beyond just not initiating force. It says the US must avoid ³entangling alliances² . Even though some people consider treaties like NATO as purely defensive, it says that the US should still not join.
The LP opposed the FIRST war in Iraq, in 1991. The US had not been attacked. If the US had not intervened then, the world would certainly have been different. Calling people names is never a good idea. Even if you have big, fancy, new names to call them, like ³pup-tent² or ³Testestarian² , name calling is still not a good idea.
