Rob) Um, who actually started this "Ron Paul is a homophobic bigot" thread?
I think if you go back and check, you'll see that it was not an Outright
member. (Rob

Wrong. It was Brian Miller, California Chair/Coordinator for the Outright
Libertarians: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lpradicals/message/2142.

Rob) It seems like we now have a strawman somebody set up to claim "Outright
Libertarians says Ron Paul is a homophobic bigot." We've never done any
such thing. (Rob

Miller didn't claim he was speaking for the Outrights -- but nobody here
said he was.

Rob) This is merely yet another attempt by social conservatives to smear the
Outright Libertarians organization (Rob

Right, because anybody who dares criticize a statement of a member of the
Outrights must be a "social conservative" or is "living in a bubble of
Republican talk radio". (Are you ever going to retract that latter smear
against me, Rob?)

In my posting
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LPplatform-discuss/message/3506> that
reported Miller's quote to LPplatform-discuss, the only mentions of the
Outrights are

1. in a quote of Miller mendaciously suggesting that Anthony Gregory
and I claim "expertise" on gay issues (we don't so claim), expertise which
Miller says we surely do not have because we are not members of the
Outrights; and
2. in a quote of Miller lying by claiming that I "only recently
switched over to the Libertarian side of the [same-sex marriage equality]
issue in the platform debate after concerted lobbying from Outright's
membership".

I said "An honorable person would either substantiate or retract this claim,
but Miller has never done either for his prior lies about me, and I don't
expect him to start now." I was right.

The Outrights is one of the best LP organizations, and the ranks of the best
LPCA activists are overflowing with Outright members. Brian Miller's serial
mendacity is only a tiny smudge on the reputation of this shining
organization. The only real question here is why the Outrights are
apparently unwilling or unable to convince him to cease and desist. The
answer apparently lies in the above spinal reflex to label as "social
conservatives" anyone who dares speak truth to Outright power.
