Hi Sarah and everybody,

Following the dolphins' mass mortality in Peru, there is also an article posted
in environmental health news at the following link

Thousands of dolphins may have died in Peru's massive die-off; cause could
remain mystery

http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/news/2012/perus-dolphin-die-off

A combination of anthropogenic and natural factors may be conspiring against
the survival of dolphins off Peru and causing the massive die off...

Cheers

Juan Jose Alava

Subject: [MARMAM] Information on recent Mass Stranding in Peru

Is there any information on the results of investigations that Peruvian
Scientists are carrying out on the recent  mass stranding there of common
dolphin and Burmeisters porpoises?

There is this article:

http://digitaljournal.com/article/325075

But according to the NHM website the results were leading towards a potential
epidemic outbreak of morbillivirus brucella.
Kind regards,
