Interested in marine mammal and ocean geospatial data, but don't know where
to begin?

Join a live walkthrough of HUB Ocean's Ocean Data Platform on 17 September
2026 at 15:30 CET. Designed for both new and existing users, this session
will cover:

   -

   A quick platform overview
   -

   Recently added features
   -

   What’s coming next
   -

   Live Q&A

The free platform includes an expanding catalog of open-access geospatial
ocean datasets, including global whale ship-strike risk data from Nisi et
al. (2024), published in *Science*.

One of the best parts is that you can upload and securely store your own
data within the portal's cloud and easily share it privately with
collaborators using non-expiring links. You can also publish datasets to
support the open-access community!

Hosted by Tom Redd, Head of Platform Experience.

Hub Ocean is a Norway-based nonprofit building an open, cloud-based
geospatial platform for ocean data. Access is free for all users.

Upload data. Explore the catalog. Query faster. Collaborate more easily.

Cheers,
